How do you get your car on Metro if you’re an Uber driver?

A woman in Toronto says she was told to remove her Uber ride-hailing service after a driver called her a “n*****” and told her that he’d be shooting her if she didn’t.
The woman says she told the driver that she was a “lady in a man’s world.”
The driver then asked her to pull over to the side of the road and told the woman that she would be shooting at him if she did not leave her car.
The woman says that driver then called her out on her privilege and told him that he had to “go get some rocks and roll.”
The Uber driver allegedly responded, “Oh, it’s nothing.
I just have a problem.”
The woman told CBC News that she has since been told she will be fired.
“I was very, very upset,” she said.
“He’s a woman, he should not have called me out.
I don’t think it’s a big deal.
It’s not like he’s a thug, and I didn’t even say anything about it.”
The woman’s story sparked outrage in the city, with Mayor Rob Ford, who is running for mayor in September, issuing a statement condemning the driver and calling out Uber for not providing more details about the incident.
Ford said he believes “everybody’s entitled to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or other protected characteristics.”
He also said that he and his team would “continue to support those who want to have their voice heard in our city and that includes the drivers who may be struggling in this time of need.”
Uber responded in a statement to CBC News, saying it “stands behind its drivers.”
“Drivers who choose to use Uber have a responsibility to ensure their passengers are safe, while respecting the rights of all passengers,” the statement read.
In a statement, Ford called the incident “unacceptable and inexcusable.”
“The city will continue to work with all our partners to address the issues we’ve identified, and we’re committed to providing an inclusive environment that is respectful of all riders and drivers,” the mayor said.
