A medical transport van has been used to transfer sick patients from a hospital to a home in Florida, according to ABC News.
A resident of a Gainesville, Florida home recently filed a police report alleging that the van had been parked illegally in the driveway, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Police are investigating the incident, which is still under investigation.
The Florida Department of Transportation said in a statement that the agency was working with the department of transportation and state police to identify the owner of the van and take legal action against anyone who has used the vehicle for unlawful purposes.
The vehicle, which has a license plate number of G1A3, was registered to a resident of the home, and it was not registered to anyone in the community, according the statement.
The G1 A3 transport van is not allowed to be parked in the same location as other vehicles, according a letter sent to the owner by the Florida Department for Public Safety.
The vehicle was first seen parked at a home for residents in Gainesville in August, but it was only recently reported to be being used to carry sick patients.
The owner of Gainesville was not immediately available for comment, the Associated Press reported.
